Recognized as a “Best Firm for Healthcare Consulting” 2011–2022 by Vault, Kx Advisors is a modern strategy firm supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, and health IT companies. They came to Nifitc for an identity that rises above the status quo of their competitors.

I devised the structure of Kx’s new website and refined the visual identity in the process of creating high-fidelity pages.

Strategist

A modern approach

The new brand is a fusion of trustworthiness and friendliness that stands out from other firms in the industry. Geometric shapes and minimal design lend a scholarly, clinical feel, while the brand’s teal base adds an approachable pop of color.

A minimalist logo

Previously under Kaiser Associates Healthcare, the Kx Advisors team had a bold vision for their breakaway brand. “Kx” is a nod to the prescription symbol “Rx”, as well as their parent company Kaiser Associates.

Custom photography

We posed the new marque amongst 3D figurines depicting each sector in which Kx Advisors is involved. A scene from this shoot appears at the top of each sector page on the website. The marque acts as a slightly cheeky– yet undoubtedly professional– guide introducing each page.

Interactive “X” pattern

I brought the Kx web experience to life using an interactive grid made of +’s and x’s. When a user hovers over each one of Kx's capabilities on the home page, a pattern appears.

Highlighting capabilities

I designed a comprehensive scrolling directory of capabilities, complete with navigation allowing users jump from section to section while gleaning an overview of all that Kx has to offer.
