Hi, I'm Emma

I'm a savvy, multifaceted UX/UI/Product Designer of 10 years with roots in psychology and a background in graphic design. I've worked on 20+ multi-month projects, tending to concepts until they are ready to bloom into successful solutions. I'm a pro at crafting robust wireframes and building thoughtful component libraries that scale. Clients have noted my swiftness, ingenuity, and gusto for creating experiences that make one exclaim, “a-ha!”.

Outside of design I enjoy storytelling through video. I'm a metal detector hobbyist, electronic music producer, and NFT dabbler. I travel the globe between time at home with my cat– seizing the flexibility of remote life and the creativity that it allows.

Created 10+ websites for varying industries from wireframes to live-site completion for brands including Salt Lake County, Venture for America, and Veris Insights. Executed designs to A/B test for long-term client, Change.org. Built and maintained robust component libraries and style guides. Assured quality of websites through user testing and QA. Increased in-bound traffic for the Niftic website through visual design and animation.

Provided design for print, web, and more under tight deadlines. Helped Barron's reach 500k subscribers. Generated methods, then trained employees how to rapidly execute web ads. Additional brands worked with under News Corp umbrella include Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal.

Boosted sales by designing emails with click-through rates exceeding industry standards by 10%, maintained consistency of brand identities by writing/editing SEO copy and product descriptions, and extended reach through print material ranging from marketing collateral to packaging.
